Artistic Wankery

Being somewhat creative... its linework for a Muirahn charrie sheet. Still got a bit to add then of course paint it up. Going to eventually be part of Evalas wiki.... and one day webcomic.... maybe. 

Well... how did everyone's festivities go? Christmas was good to me I suppose. Next up is new years. So let us hope the new year will bring better tidings.... then ya know... this mess. Been a bit more creative lately.... more writing then usual for a Evalas wiki... which is driving me insane, but thats ok I suppose. Still in my office freezing to death. Who knows what will become of me. 

So hopefully in the next few months the husband will have his drivers liecense and a car, or rather a truck to boot. SO can't wait. It's been awhile since we've had this kind of freedom. Will be nice to run away for a little while, and given the fact that I live in BC Canada, there is a lot to explore. Even during a pandemic. Life has been rather boring other then that. GO to work, come home, clean up house, eat dinner.... watch something on TV or draw or play a game.... rinse and repeat. I think even as a introvert that I'm gertting bored of... the stuff I normally do. I'm pretty sure we all kind of feel this. Doesn't make it less difficult. So making a wiki thing for Evalas, that has kinda kept me busy, doing some art fot it... kinda putting off the written part for now. Although I have gotten some of it done. Will be a lot of work, but it seems like a good idea to catalog all this shit before I even begin to make a webcomic. Anyways that's all I got.

Ya know what I miss? Bitches I miss role playing. I don't mean DnD... never had friends that got into that. Although I had friends online that would RP with me. We would fucking wip up characters and worlds and stories and plots like there was no tomorrow. Then light that shit up on a forum and we would be off. We would all carry on the story through our characters eyes. I guess I just also miss writing original stuff. We'd come up with so many fab ideas and we have this really cool story by the time we were done. I look at this and go who the fuck role plays on a forum anymore... and I realize I'm fucking old. Damn son.... Regardless, I'm debating about getting back into comics.... legit I did one chapter, only one, and it took me so long.... and it was thrown together. I mostly did it just so I can say I did a chapter...and it was also mostly used as practice... because comics really push your boundries. They will force you to draw things you just don't wanna.

So at last, my couch,  or rather loveseat came in. Put out together last night. So glad to be rid of the last thing, it was horrid. So uncomfortable. The new one has a vintage 60s feel to it.  It's comfortable enough to game on and in the end that is all that matters. 

The office is so cold. I might die here. I have multiple blankets, and yet it doesn't seem enough. Thankfully its a Wednesday. And this Friday is payday. But as we all know all the money goes to bills,  bills and bills. The only thing I am looking forward to is picking season 2 of Inuyasha on bluray.... I will own all of this amazing anime,  and I will rewatch all of it.  I love this surge of merch for old 90s and early 2000s anime and games. Takes me back. Now if only we can get some of the more niesh fandoms from that era to make a comeback... Escaflowne anyone? The series... The movie was shit.  Those were interesting days to be sure.  I remember back then I had a lot more to blog about. Life was much more full of drama. Now the only drama I suffer from is when my cat meows all dramatically to get cuddles. 

So... I've literally been painting my house purple. And blue. Got some 90s flair going on. And as you can see I'm a avoid collector of sorts. Plus I love nik naks. I'm a sucker for maximalisim. Even my kitchen here got a redo..... The bedrooms are themed... Well the kids isn't,  but mine is. No pictures yet. Not quite done..... Ours will be Fallout themed. The bathroom is Sephiroth colors and overall theme. It's looking cool but still got a lot of work to do.

I will be brutaly honest. I don't plan on updating this blog often enough for it to mean anything of importance. Technically keeping this as a tradition that tags along with my website. So mostly artistic updates about myself and the website will go here..... It's been a long time since I blogged anything. I used to blog all the time, daily even. Now with a tween child, a needy cat, and a talktative hubby.... it seeems I never have enough time for anything. But I supose this is the beggining of something.... I may post art related things here, and perhaps throw in some photograhy here and there. Not sure yet. I guess this will be more or less related to the artist instead of the art. (also yours truly... obviously) Wankery indeed.
